Stabbing suspect charged, ordered to wear tether
A Charlevoix woman has been charged after police said she stabbed another woman five times with a kitchen knife.
Kaylee Booth, 31, was charged with assault with intent to murder in the Charlevoix District Court this morning.
Booth's bond was raised from $50,000 to $100,000. She was also ordered to wear a tether, meaning she will be restricted to Emmet, Charlevoix and Otsego counties.
According to police, Booth pulled a kitchen knife out of her car and stabbed the victim five times. Booth reportedly knew the victim.
Booth will be back in court for a pretrial on October 22.
