Staged armed robbery suspect pleads
EMMET COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- The woman involved in a staged armed robbery in Petoskey pled guilty Tuesday.
Christine Adams, 47, was arrested on June 14 after Petoskey Public Safety said they found Adams had helped stage an armed robbery at her work.
Adams was a secretary at West Brook Recovery Center in Petoskey when an armed man came into the center and robbed the place.
Police said she admitted to being in on the theft and handing over more than $1,000 in cash to her accomplice Don Eisenhardt.
Adams pled guilty to conspiracy to commit embezzlement $1,000 to $20,000, embezzlement $1,000 to $20,000 and false report of a felony.
Adams is tentatively scheduled to be sentenced at 9 a.m. August 17.
