Stapleton wants to write book for parents of children with autism
The mother accused of trying to kill herself and her 14-year-old daughter may write a book about her experience with autism.
Kelli Stapleton's attorney, Brian Johnson, of Dingeman, Dancer and Christopherson, said Stapleton wants to write a book about the lack of services available to parents and children facing the same struggles she did.
Johnson said Stapleton has received a lot of letters from parents with children who are disabled, who feel the same way she did: hopeless and at the end of their rope.
Stapleton is facing attempted murder charges after police said she lit two charcoal grills in her van and locked the doors.
Her next court date has not yet been set.
