New regulations have been put in place heading into Michigan's 2014-15 fishing season.
The state Department of Natural Resources says non-native crayfish can't be possessed or used for bait.
Other changes include larger size limits for muskellunge for Barry County's Gun Lake and Otsego County's Big Bear Lake, and a 15 inch-minimum size limit for walleye for Craig Lake State Park in Baraga County.
Officials say these and other changes have been made to ensure proper management of the state's fisheries resources and provide the greatest benefits to anglers and the public.
Michigan's angling season begins Tuesday.
