As a veteran support group, 22 2 None works to help those at risk for suicide.
Ray McDaniel from 22 2 None said on average 22 veterans commit suicide every day in the United States.
“Those suicides are not remote to us here in northern Michigan," McDaniel said. "We see local Veterans fighting demons from serving our country. This money will go a long way to help fight those demons.”
The money was raised from sponsorships and selling commemorative t-shirts.
