Sun Thursday...then some rainy periods

Tonight...mostly clear sky. Light wind after sunset. Lows 38 to 48 degrees.

Thursday will be sunny. Highs in the 60s. Wind 5-15 mph.

Thursday night we'll see the first of several bands of rain in our forecast thru the weekend. This band of rain starts Thursday evening in the Upper Peninsula...and the rain moves into the Lower Peninsula thru the night.

Friday morning...the rain moves out. Much of Friday will be cloudy, but we'll see some sun thru the clouds. Highs in the 60s. Wind 5-15 mph. Friday around sunset...the next band of rain moves into the U.P. Thru the night it spreads southward into the Lower.

Saturday...the rain ends early, and we get some sunshine. Highs 58 to 68.

Saturday in the late afternoon it starts to rain again...this time in the southern Lower Peninsula. Saturday night the rain spreads northward.

Sunday wherever you are...you could see rain or hear thunder at any time. Highs 52 to 62 degrees across northern Michigan.
