Thanks to high pressure, Sunday will be full of sunshine - but chilly.
We'll see plenty of blue skies throughout the second half of the weekend, but bundle up if you're headed outdoors - temps will be in the teens and a few low 20s. Winds are out of the NNW at 5-10mph, giving us a wind chill of 0 to -25.
Mostly clear skies will last through the overnight, but expect a little more cloud cover for Monday. The northernmost counties may see a few flurries in the afternoon.
We start the warming trend with most of us in the 20s Monday, turning into 30s and 40s Tuesday. The 30s and 40s will then continue through the end of the workweek. Along with the warmer weather, however, we're going to keep a chance of scattered wintry mix in the forecast. Keep in mind - as we turn colder in the evenings, we may have icy roads and sidewalks.
