Suspect in Traverse City shooting headed to jail on unrelated charge
The Traverse City man who told police that he shot his girlfriend last week is headed to jail on unrelated charges.
Robert Caldwell, 33, pled guilty Monday to a probation violation.
He was charged via video conference and was sentenced to 93 days in jail.
Officials say Caldwell failed to attend probation meetings and counseling sessions as well as failing to do community service.
It has not yet been determined whether he will face any charges in the shooting incident that killed Monica Anderson last week.
