Suspicious fire burns Mt. Pleasant grocery store
Update: 10:30 pm: According to the Mount Pleasant Department of Public Safety, two subjects believed to have started the fire were located and interviewed. At this time, the department considers the investigation complete and are sending a report to the prosecutor's office for their review and possible criminal charges.
Ric's Food Center in Mt. Pleasant was damaged in a fire in the early morning hours of Thursday.
Firefighters found a display rack on fire in the Mission St. store . It was quickly extinguished.
During the fire, the store's fire suppression system was activated causing water damage along with the smoke damage that occurred during the fire.
Officials are asking for the public's help in finding two potential witnesses. These two people were in the store at the time of the fire.

Up to a $5000 reward is being offered through the Michigan Arson Prevention Committee for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the person or people responsible for the fire.
