Traverse City Police Investigators have located the driver and SUV on Monday that the police say a man fell next to seriously injuring an Ann Arbor man July 5.
A Traverse City man read a news article that described the vehicle and believed he knew the owner. He sent it to a downstate man who then contacted the Traverse City Police Detectives.
The driver told the police that he was involved in the incident and he had the vehicle described in the article.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday east of the Union Street Station bar when witnesses saw a man running alongside the vehicle as it drove down a Traverse City ally.
This incident is under investigation and working with the driver of the SUV to determine the events that lead to the 21-year-old Ann Arbor man's injuries.
