Local stars are putting on their dancing shoes for a great cause! SwingShift and the Stars will have a dance-off for charity starting in September!
This kick-off event is Aug. 7 and the first competition is Sept. 19.
The stars have picked a local charity and will be paired up with an instructor to dance the night away.
The stars with their charities include Troy Broad: Leelanau Christian Neighbors, Beth Footh: Brickways, Jeff Haas: Building Bridges with Music, Jose Lopez: Justice for our Neighbors, Heather Rassel: Mariposa Pathway, as well as Brenda Sampson-Welch: Conflict Resolution Services.
The judges of the event are Judy Kiogima, President of Michigan Northern Lights Ballroom Dance, Mel Kiogima, past SS&S Instructor, and Sue Buck, Co-owner of Fance Arts Academy.
