Teen accused of rape returns from Guam to face charges
The 18-year-old man accused of raping a girl then fleeing to Guam has been formally charged.
Patrick Kettner was booked in the Mecosta County Jail on Saturday and was arraigned Monday morning.
Kettner is facing one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct after allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl at a party at his home in Green Township.
He is scheduled to be in court next on July 15.
A 19-year-old Big Rapids man was also charged in connection to the rape. Douglas Robinson is facing one county of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He is being held on a $1 million bond.
