Teen rolls car after swerving to miss deer

LEELANAU COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A teen driver rolled her car after swerving to miss a deer early Friday morning.

It happened just before 7:30 on South Center Highway south of East Eckerle Road in Suttons Bay Township.

Investigators say the 16-year-old drove off the paved portion of the road, lost control of her vehicle causing it to rollover.

The teenager wasn't hurt in the crash.

South Center Highway was closed for roughly an hour.
