Temperatures will bounce around this week. Spring begins on Thursday, but we are still dealing with snow and chilly days and nights.
Tonight you might see some flurries. Scattered light snow showers are passing thru the region.
Tuesday will be warmer than Monday...by just a few degrees in the Upper Peninsula, but by as much as 15 degrees in parts of the Lower Peninsula. Some neighborhoods will see a high in the 40s. A few snow showers will move across the U.P. and the northern Lower. The farther south you are in the Lower Peninsula, the more sun you will see.
Tuesday night...precipitation moves in and will be with us thru Wednesday. It will start as a chilly rain, but thru the afternoon on Wednesday as the temperature falls, that rain will change to snow.
On the first day of Spring...Thursday...highs will be around 32!
Wind will be light from the southeast on Tuesday, but Wednesday afternoon the wind will increase and gust from the southwest over 20 miles per hour.
