The suspect in a sexual assault case drove from Tennessee to Osceola County to turn himself in.
Francis Mallo, 49, of Loudon, Tennessee, is facing five counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct involving a female victim under the age of 13.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, the assaults allegedly happened between 1990 and 1992 in Osceola Township.
Recently, the Sheriff's Office said they received a tip and started digging. They interviewed a victim and then contacted Mallo, who drove from Tennessee to turn himself in.
Mallo is being held without bond.
He is scheduled to be in court on December 12. If convicted, Mallo could spend life in prison.
