An Equestrian tradition is making its return to northern Michigan this week as Horse Shows by the Bay will be celebrating it's 10th anniversary with a month-long event in Grand Traverse County.
The five week event starts Wednesday and will have events running through Sunday up until August 4th.
Thousands of the country's best horses and riders will be competing in equestrian sports of show jumping, hunters, equition and western reining.
It takes place out at the Flintfields Horse Park in Williamsburg but the show is widely recognized as another summer tradition in the Traverse City area.
Another big addition to this years event, organizers want to make sure no one is left out so they will be providing a live digital stream of the Grand Prix Ring on their website, http://www.horseshowsbythebay.com/
