High pressure will give northern Michigan a beautiful end to the weekend and start to the workweek.
A high pressure system is just east of the Great Lakes region, bringing us warm southerly air flow and plenty of sunshine.
Saturday afternoon hopefully finds most in northern Michigan enjoying the weather! Just a few puffy white clouds and temperatures near 80 across the area will give way to mostly clear skies overnight and lows mainly in the 50s.
The second half of the weekend will bring more sunshine, highs around 80 degrees, and southerly winds at 5-15mph.
Monday will be more of the same, but warmer â?? some locations in the Lower Peninsula will approach 90 in the afternoon.
Our next chance of rain doesnâ??t look to enter the forecast until Tuesday, with possible storms Tuesday night.
