Police are investigating a meth-lab operation in Wexford County after a traffic stop this weekend lead to the discovery of many dangerous meth-cooking materials.
Early Saturday morning, State Police Troopers pulled over 43 year-old Kenneth Rathbone on M-115 and 19 Road for an equipment violation. He was arrested for operating while intoxicated and troopers did a search of his car where they found dangerous meth-cooking materials.
The Traverse Narcotics Team was called to the scene to help with the clean up of the small one pot meth lab inside of the car.
7&4 News is told that since then, police were able to get a search warrant for Rathbone's home located on 3 1/2 Road in Springville Township, where they found even more chemicals and meth-manufacturing components.
More charges are expected against Rathbone.
