Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce director resigns
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Just a year after being appointed, the executive director of Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce resigned.
Max Anderson cited personal reasons for his resignation that was effective March 19.
Anderson was the executive director of the chamber since January 2017.
The chamber will start a search for a new director after a board of directors meeting in April.
Until a new director is found Jill May, current director of investor relations, will serve as interim director.
May has 20 years of experience in non-profit work both in Grand Rapids and Traverse City.
