Two men arrested for stealing donation jar from 7-11

      Two people have been arrested for stealing a "Meals on Wheels" donation jar from the 7-11 on Barlow Street in Traverse City.

      According to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff, 28-year-old Tate Allen Andrews was charged with larceny, retail fraud and being a habitual offender.

      The other suspect's name will not be released until he is arraigned.

      The incident happened on Feb. 2 around 11 p.m. and again the next day around 3 a.m..

      A donation jar for the "Meals on Wheels" program was taken. The Sheriff's Department also reported lottery tickets were taken as well.
