Two men seriously injured in snowmobile crash

Two men were taken to Munson Medical Center after a snowmobile crash in Grand Traverse County.

GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Two men were hospitalized after a snowmobile crash in Grand Traverse County.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office said the two men were traveling eastbound on Brown Bridge Road near Ranch Rudolph Road in Union Township.

Deputies said the driver of the snowmobile, a 26-year-old Kingsley man, ran off the road and hit multiple trees.

The driver and the passenger, a 26-year-old Interlochen man, were both taken to Munson Medical Center with serious injuries.

Deputies don't know the condition of the men at this time.

According to deputies alcohol use is likely a factor.
