      Two northern Michigan spots named to America's Most Romantic Towns list

      According to the magazine's website, Traverse City was ranked Number 10 on the list of 25 towns nationwide.

      Two northern Michigan towns have been named to a list of America's Most Romantics Towns by Travel and Leisure Magazine.

      According to the magazine's website, Traverse City was ranked Number 10 on the list of 25 towns nationwide.

      The magazine says the romance is in the outdoorsy endeavors, like hiking at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore or taking a color drive in the fall.

      Also getting a mention in Chateau Chantal for its wines, breakfasts and water views.

      Harbor Springs made the list at Number 21 and boasts "four-seasons adventures" including the Tunnel of Trees drive on M-119.

      So, which town was named Number 1? Well that would be St. Simons, Georgia - for it's balance between seclusion and accessibility.

      According to the magazine's website, editors looked at the most "lover-friendly" categories including; brunch spots, bakeries, farmers' markets, wine scenes, and idyllic, picnic-friendly parks.
