Two people were arrested in Traverse City after a neighbor said he saw them carrying marijuana plants to their car.
A 27-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were arrested late Saturday night at a home in the 400 block of West Tenth Street.
According to the Traverse City Police Department, a neighbor saw two people carrying what they believed to be marijuana plants from a house and putting them into a car.
Officers arrived a few minutes later and found the man and woman with 20 marijuana plants in the car. A further search found more processed marijuana.
According to the Police Department, neither suspect is licensed to possess or grow marijuana through the Michigan Department of Community Health.
The man was lodged on charges of Delivery and manufacturing Marijuana. The woman was held on one count of possession of marijuana as well as a conditional bond violation from a previous charge.
