Undercover operation leads to three drug arrests
Three men were arrested after a undercover operation revealed they were allegedly selling heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
According to the Michigan State Police, undercover detectives were able to establish contact with a 23-year-old man who was dealing heroin and cocaine in Traverse City.
Undercover officers made multiple controlled purchases of both heroin and cocaine from the suspect over a three-week period.
Through the investigation it was determined that the suspect was staying at a home on Garfield Avenue.
Investigators obtained a search warrant and during the search, the main suspect who had sold to officers as well as two additional men, 22, and 24, were arrested.
Officers also seized significant quantities of suspected cocaine, heroin, and marijuana were seized along with evidence that investigators say suggest they were being packaged for sale.
A large amount of cash was also seized.
