Unusually cold week ahead

Snow showers and cold temperatures tonight. Light snow for most of us, but around Ludington several inches are possible.

Weather story for the week is COLD! Highs Tuesday will average 15 degrees around northern Michigan...and that might be the warmest day of the work week. Looks like single digits for most of our highs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Of course, at night...frigid...plenty of lows below zero.

Not to tease you, but typical temperatures this time of year are 28 to 34 for highs and 12 to 17 for overnight lows. It's not a record breaking week ahead, but it will be colder than normal.

We'll see some passing snow showers at times this week. Mostly light amounts are expected, but in areas prone to get lake effect near Lake Michigan you may see something heavier.

Wind will gust to 20 mph at times this week, but any wind...even a light one...will make wind chills an issue, especially at night.
