The warmest days so far this spring are set for Tuesday and perhaps Wednesday in a few spots, but will come at the cost of a few showers and thunderstorms.
Mild south winds will remain locked in place across Northern Michigan early in the week as a cold front is trying to push in from the west, but will fall short and basically wash out over Wisconsin and the western U.P. That boundary will be the focus however for some rain and even a few thunderstorms which will get flung off in our direction at times Monday evening all the way through Wednesday. No steady or real heavy rain is expected, but over a multi-day period, a few spots in NW Lower Michigan the Eastern U.P. could see up to an inch of rain.
Temperatures will remain in the 60's Monday with more clouds around, but will shoot into the 70's Tuesday and in some areas, Wednesday as well. Cooler weather will finally sag in Thursday with temperatures dropping into the 50's to around 60F with occasional rain Thursday. We warm right back into the 60's by next weekend.
