A low pressure system and cold front will exit northern Michigan Sunday. While weâ??ll see an end to flurries, a lot of the clouds will stick around. With some sunshine, highs will reach into the upper 20s and low 30s.
Monday and Tuesday will bring more of the same â?? highs in the low and mid 30s and a mix of sun and clouds. Later Tuesday we may get some light wintry mix along the Lake Michigan side.
Things start to change Wednesday and Thursday. An approaching system from the plains will cause a warm, southerly air flow to bring us afternoon temps in the mid 30s and low 40s both days. However, along with the warmer weather, weâ??re looking at some cloud cover, scattered rain, and possibly wintry mix.
Mid-week will seem tropical compared to Friday and Saturday as we get the backside of the passing system, and another cold front passing into Saturday. Highs will remain in the 20s, with lows in the teens, and we'll see a changeover from rain and mix to snow showers.
