Winter Weather Advisories in several counties Tuesday
Tue, 10 Dec 2013 12:00:00 GMT —
The combination of new snow, gusty wind and low wind chills will make Tuesday uncomfortable to be out if you are not wrapped up.
There is a Winter Weather Advisory for counties on the Lake Michigan half of the Lower Peninsula from the Straits to Ludington.
We all will get snow, but in the advisory counties...Emmet, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Otsego, Antrim, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Wexford, Manistee, Lake, Mason, Oceana and Newaygo Counties...totals will be higher.
In the advisory area you could see more than three inches of snow during the day. Outside the advisory area, totals will be up to two inches.
Winds will gust to 25 miles per hour from the west or southwest.
That will create blowing, drifting snow and low wind chills.
