WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for several counties in northern Michigan for tonight and Friday morning...including Luce, Charlevoix, Otsego, Antrim, Kalkaska, Crawford, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Manistee, Wexford, Lake, Mason, and Oceana Counties. Roads here will see more new snow. Bands of lake effect are set up and continuing thru Friday...at least. Some people in the lake effect zones will see 6 inches of new snow tonight and Friday.

Tonight's lows will be from 5 below zero to 12 above. Wind 10-20 mph will make the wind chills fall well below zero. Snow showers will be scattered and light out of the lake effect zones.

Friday...cloudy...more snow showers. Heavier in those lake effect areas...where there is an advisory. Cold for everyone. Highs 10 to 18 degrees. Wind from the northwest 10-20 mph.

Friday night look for more snow showers. Several new inches in the lake effect areas...lighter elsewhere. Cold night. Lows 0 to 12 degrees, but with the wind...just a light 5-15 mph wind...wind chills will be below zero.

Saturday is a day we need to watch. If you are traveling Saturday afternoon or evening southward into Ohio or Indiana...you will be driving into a large snowy area moving across the middle part of the country. So, snow showers for us Saturday...but more than just in those lake effect zones. Highs 14 to 30 degrees.

Sunday...some stray scattered snow showers...and maybe a little sun thru the clouds. It will be colder than Saturday. Highs Sunday...10-20 degrees.
