Woman who stole from Petunia Parade gets 9 months in jail
The woman who pleaded guilty to embezzling thousands of dollars from the Ludington Petunia Parade has been sentenced to 9 months in jail.
Donna Brown appeared in a Mason County court Tuesday afternoon for sentencing.
Brown pleaded guilty to embezzlement of $20,000 to $50,000 in late April.
As part of the plea agreement, Brown will serve four months in jail up front and will be electronically monitored for 60 days after her release at her own expense.
Brown is also being forced to pay restitution in the amount of $47,807.15.
