Authorities find homemade weapons, explosives in Roscommon home photo

ROSCOMMON, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU)-- Two Roscommon Township residents have been arrested, accused of having homemade guns and weapons.

On Tuesday night, troopers got a call about an improvised gun at a home. Troopers found the unregistered pistol and a 32-year-old woman with an illegal stun gun.

The woman was arrested and taken to the Roscommon County Jail.

Troopers say they continued their investigation and found a 29-year-old man, who's a convicted felon, with firearms and homemade explosives.

Troopers were told the man had discussed using the explosives to damage public buildings.

Troopers seized one homemade explosive device, one pistol and one long gun from his home.

The man was arrested on felony weapons charges and taken to the Roscommon County Jail.

Police are still investigating the case and it may result in more charges.
