Fri, 08 Nov 2013 13:24:49 GMT — 10 year old Amanda Herman has raised more than $2,000 for a Guatemalan non-profit by making and selling her own purses, bags, skirts and pillowcases. Safe Passage works in Guatemala bringing education, hope and opportunity to children and families who live near the City dump. To buy or donate a purse you can contact her at: Amandasews8@yahoo.comShe will also be at the Christ the King Craft Show on Saturday November 9, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The craft show is in Acme at 3801 Shore Road.
