      7-year-old girl involved in deadly crash still in critical condition

      7-year-old Madysen Church, the little girl involved in a deadly Mason County car crash last week is still listed in critical condition, according to staff at DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids.

      The crash happened on Feb. 5 at 5:26 p.m. on Jebavy Drive and Fisher Road in Hamlin Township.

      The Mason County Sheriff's Office reports that Madysen's mother, 28-year-old Amanda Collins was driving her car north, crossed the centerline, struck a snow bank and spun the passenger side of the car into the path of a southbound pickup truck.

      Amanda and her 10-month-old daughter Lillian were pronounced dead at the scene. Madysen, was flown to DeVos Children's Hospital.
