After a gorgeous day Saturday, hot, humid, and windy conditions - with rain chances - move in for Sunday.
High pressure kept most of northern Michigan dry Saturday - there were a few lingering showers across the E. U.P.
Saturday night weâ??ll have partly cloudy skies with a slight chance for a shower or storm (mainly in the northernmost counties and along the Lake Michigan side), with lows in the mid 50s and low 60s. Winds will be out of the SW at 10-20mph.
Sunday will bring us more cloud cover and scattered showers and storms. Sunday will be hot and humid as a warm front moves across Michigan - giving us highs mostly in the 70s and 80s (the straits area in the upper 60s). Itâ??ll be breezy too, with winds out of the SW at 10-25mph and gusting to the 30s.
Low pressure moves into Canada and drags the cold front across Michigan heading into Monday morning. This increases our chances for showers and storms throughout Sunday evening and overnight.
Monday will bring some sunshine, but weâ??ll keep the chance for a storm throughout the day, and into Tuesday and Wednesday also as another cold front crosses the Great Lakes. Although Monday will still be warm, highs Tuesday and Wednesday will be closer to 70 degrees, and much less humid.
The rain chances into the mid-week wonâ??t ruin your day, and some wonâ??t see rain each of those days at all â?? just be prepared you may run into a passing shower or storm sometime into Wednesday.
We see the temps rebound and the return of blue skies to end the workweek.
