The American Legion Riders revved up their engines in northern Michigan as they started a trip to raise donations.
Thursday morning 7&4s Alyssa Hearin was live from Emmet County to fill us in.
More than 60 motorcycles rolled out of the Smith-Hoover Post 281 in Harbor Springs.
Riders kicked off the first Legacy Fund Run in Michigan to raise money for the legacy scholarship fund.
This scholarship helps fund college expenses for children of military personnel that died while on active duty.
Riders will stop in Grand Rapids at Post 458 and finish tomorrow at a convention in Sterling Heights.
People can join the run at any stop.
Cost will be $25 for riders, $15 for a passenger and $35 for passenger cars.
If you would like to help donate you can make checks payable to: Livonia Post 32 American Legion Riders or visit: http://www.michiganlegion.org/legionriders/.
