Benzie Central students make stand against bullying

The BC Pride Team performs at Platte River Elementary.

A group of Benzie Central High School students are making a stand against bullying with the "Pride of BC" program.

The BC Pride Team formed three years ago as a response to a bullying problem that the students saw at their school.

As part of the program, the team performs shows at area schools to address bullying and teen issues, such as drugs and violence. The performances include skits and choreographed dancing.

Every show is completely student-run, as they take a personal approach to issues they each have faced in their lives.
