The Traverse City community has come together for a fundraiser for Kelsey Clous, who has a rare blood clotting disease, and raised more than $30,000 for the Clous family.
Kelsey Clous was diagnosed with the disease five years ago and the family has been crushed by medical bills and other expenses.
"We are so thankful for everyone's love, support, and prayers," says Carol Clous, Kelsey's mother. "It is what sustains us and makes this journey bearable."
The fundraiser was held at Bill Marsh Car dealership which included a bake sale, silent auction, food, and even a car wash.
Donations continue to pour in, so no final tally can be made but it will exceed $30,000.
