Officials at the airport welcomed their new addition with an archway of water as the plane made it's way towards the terminal.

The Summer service will be for inbound and outbound flights going to a from United Airlines hub at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and will help connect more people to and from the East Coast and Southeast region.

"Anytime we get more flights, more people coming through, it's about getting more seats into the market and the more seats we have the better fares we have," said Cherry Capital Airport Director, Kevin Klein. "It's a great opportunity for our business travelers, our international travelers, the leisure travelers coming back and forth. So great service, great opportunity."

The plane will be making Saturday trips from June 29th until the end of August. Klein says that depending on the air traffic that the flight receives it could open up for more days.
