The Cherryland Humane Society already got some extra help this holiday season - thanks to Williams Chevrolet in Traverse City.
The dealership asked Facebook fans to post pictures of themselves and their pets - and donated ten dollars to the Cherryland Humane Society for each picture posted.
The total amount came to $2,000 - which Cherryland representatives say will really help the animals.
"It will go a ways to help several animals - certainly with food, medications, cleaning agents, and things that we have to do every single day," said Mike Cherry of Cherryland Humane Society. "It certainly will help the animals to adjust and feel good until they find a home."
Williams Chevrolet says they already have another fundraiser in the works for Christmas.
