The funeral for Traverse City's longtime DDA Director Bryan Crough will be open to the public.
A service will be held at the City Opera House on Saturday, June 22 at 11 a.m.
There will be no viewing.
Crough died of a massive heart attack Sunday night.
Crough served as the Downtown Development Authority's Executive Director for 23 years after serving as City Commissioner. He is credited as the champion for the City Opera House, State Theatre, the History Center, parking decks and many other projects. Most recently, he worked raising money for improvements at Clinch Park.
"It will take me a while to get my head around the idea that the man who built downtown Traverse City is no longer with us," said City Manager Ben Bifoss.
