Grand Traverse County Sheriff deputies have identified a man who made a threat to blow up the 5/3 Bank at 2425 Holiday Road in East Bay Township on Monday.
According to deputies, a bank customer was on the phone with a bank employee discussing the customers bank accounts. The customer, a 67-year-old man from Williamsburg, became upset when the information the bank employee gave him was not what he believed he had.
It was then that the customer made a threat to blow up the bank.
The Grand Traverse Sheriff's office was able to locate the man and upon further investigation determined he also suffers from mental health issues.
The Grand Traverse County prosecutor is now reviewing the case to determine if any charges will be brought against him.
