The Traverse City Boom Boom Club helped make the July 4 fireworks happen last year, and without support from the community the fireworks won't happen. Community members are donating money to make sure the July 4 celebrations still take place every year. Expenses for the July 4 celebration can cost upwards of $40,000.
Tim Hinkley from the TC Boom Boom Club sat down with 7&4's Holly Baker and explains that it is up to the community to keep the tradition of fireworks alive.
