The 19th annual Smart Commute Week kicks off Monday.

The week-long celebration of smart commuting is used to encourage people to try biking, sharing rides, and using public transportation to get to and from work.

You can also give back to the community and support the trails by donating blood. Michigan Blood will donate $10 to TART Trails for each person that makes an appointment to donate blood Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11. More information on how to make an appointment can be found at
