Falcon jet rests its wings in Traverse City

A new Falcon Jet will be on permanent display at Cherry Capital Airport

After a two year approval process, the HU25 Falcon Jet is finally resting its wings in Traverse City.

Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City and the Northwestern Regional Airport Commission accepted the Falcon as it flew in from Cape Cod today. The jet will eventually be put on display at Cherry Capital Airport.

The Falcon jet was flown as a search and rescue aircraft out of Air Station Traverse City from 1983 to 1986. It is now retired and will be put up for display at the Cherry Capital Airport.
