During a visit to northern Michigan this weekend, Governor Snyder made a stop at one of the area's top businesses on Saturday.
The Governor, along with several other state leaders got the chance to tour the new American Waste Facility in Traverse City, where he checked out one of the most advanced recycling systems in the country.
During his visit the Governor recognized the importance of what businesses like American Waste are doing to improve the economy in Michigan.
The Governor says the technology that the company is using is a great example of the innovations happening around the entire state.

This Tuesday, the Governor will be back in Lansing to sign two House Bills, which will allow county commissioners to dissolve or ask voters to dissolve, county road commissions.
