A couple passing systems bring some much needed rain to Northern Michigan.
A stationary front has been parked over the U.P. the past couple of days, and a low pressure system will move out of Minnesota, along it, and across Michigan Monday. This will bring a chance for rain, and possibly a thunderstorm, during the day on Monday. Highs will be in the mid 70s to mid 80s, and we'll still see some sunshine with light westerly winds.
We get a brief break from the rain in the earlier part of the day Tuesday, but a stronger low pressure system moves across Canada to the north of us - expect it's cold front to bring scattered showers and storms later in the day.
The chance of storms/rain will last overnight into Wednesday, before high pressure builds back in.
This will create sunny, warm, and dry conditions to end the week and the next upcoming weekend looks to be gorgeous.
