Traverse City got a big dose of culture Saturday afternoon, as hundreds showed up for the third annual Go Global International Fair at Dennos Museum.
The event, hosted by Traverse City Area Public Schools and Northwestern Michigan College, was expanded this year to include more exhibits and activities, as well as performances from local schools.
Drummers and dancers made for a lively environment, and there were options for all ages at the event.
Children participated in crafts, while older students could check out NMC??s study abroad programs and student groups. There were also booths setup to showcase language learning programs and information on housing exchange students.
Organizers plan to continue expanding the event and are planning to get to work on the 2014 fair by next week.
