Reading made fun with Finn

A new summer reading program in the Traverse City area is aiming to help kids with learning disabilities feel better about themselves with the help of a four legged friend. SOS Learning Lab in Traverse City is a tutoring service for people with everything from traumatic brain injuries to cognitive impairment. Debbie Caperton started the organization and is now incorporating a reading program for kids with the service of a blind dog named, Finn.

Finn was born without his sight but his calm demeanor and eagerness to be of service is what, Caperton hopes will help fuel the reading program.
