It's the time of the year where recent grads are joining the rest of the population looking for a job. The first way to get yourself a chance at an interview is making sure your resume is up-to-date and looking great.
Dana Laursen is a Career Coach for Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City and she explains a lot about the basics of a resume and the "do's and don'ts" as well.
Some of her tips include making sure all of your contact information is appropriate and professional, including the voicemail on the phone number you list. Also make sure you focus your resume specifically for each job you apply for, and leave enough white space on the paper so that it is easy to read. See the full interview for more tips from Laursen.
