Safe Harbor in tenth year of helping homeless
Safe Harbor, a program designed to give the homeless a hot meal and shelter during the winter months, is starting back up for its tenth year.
Partnering with the Goodwill Industries and 24 area churches, the program gives dinner and shelter to the homeless from November until early April.
This week, Safe Harbor will be at the First Church of the Nazarene on South Division in Traverse City.
Next week for Thanksgiving, they will be at the West Bay Covenant Church on South West Bay Shore Drive.
The schedule following the Thanksgiving holiday is as follows:
